Since 2008, I'm running biobyte solutions, a small company providing customized bioinformatics services and consulting. Some of my projects are listed below.

Travel and photography are my passions and main pastimes.

After many years of visual observation only, I got a small refractor telescope and started getting into astrophotography. All the photos are taken from our terrace in Heidelberg, where the light pollution is relatively high.
